Youth Program 8U-14U
YOUTH DIRECTOR
Ty Butler has been a high school baseball coach for the last 5 years in the KC area. He will be overseeing YBC youth teams to promote and ensure a healthy and encouraging culture through the development of our younger players.
Being a high school coach, Ty is well aware of what players need to be capable of - both mentally and physically - when it comes time to compete at the high school level.
Ty is ready to help our youth team players and coaches come up with and execute plans for their team's development!

8U / 9U / 10U / 11U / 12U / 13U /14U
Players- Don't have a team yet? No problem! YBC will assess your level and pair you with a team.
When
The season begins with tryouts in July and runs through the summer season. Each team develops their schedule for the season. Teams decide on how many practices per week and where they are held.

Games
Youth teams - play in leagues, tournaments or a combination of both throughout the year.
League Play - Games are scheduled anytime during the week or weekends.
Tournaments - are typically played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However, in the summer, tournaments can start on Thursday and carry over into Monday.
Uniforms
YBC provides 1-Fall Jersey and 2-Spring jerseys along with a hat.
Players provide white pants, belt, socks and white helmet.
